Open Cosmos and UK Earth Observation Data Hub partner to boost the UK’s EO community

O

pen Cosmos will be joining the Earth Observation Data Hub (EODH) as the first-UK headquartered EO data provider, allowing us to support this national initiative by sharing our datasets with the EODH userbase. This collaboration will allow users of the EODH to access our Earth Observation datasets to support effective decision making, impacting work across government, industry and academia.

Under the agreement, Open Cosmos will be sharing datasets from our in-orbit and legacy satellites and future constellations, enabling researchers, innovators, and commercial users of the EODH to discover, access, and analyse high-quality Earth observation imagery from Open Cosmos’ growing constellation of satellites.

“This partnership represents an important milestone for us with the UK Earth observation community,” said Alberto Pérez Cassinelli, VP of Data at Open Cosmos. “By integrating DataCosmos with the Earth Observation Data Hub, we are working with trusted national stakeholders to make satellite data more accessible, usable, and impactful for researchers and innovators across the UK ecosystem.”

This award further reinforces Open Cosmos’ position as a trusted provider of scalable satellite data services and highlights the growing demand for accessible  Earth observation data to support research and commercial innovation.
